"I'm going to make you popular"

Last night I saw Wicked at the Fox Theater. I must admit, it was amazing.

But I also must tell you, I witnessed someone get run over by a car. Yeah. After the show was done we were in the car, waiting to get out of the parking lot. Out of the corner of my eye I saw some girl running. All of a sudden a car reversed really fast out of no where, she tripped, and the car ran right over her. There was a really big crowd immediately and a doctor stepped forward. We ended up leaving because it was the best option, since otherwise we'd be blocking the entrance for emergency vehicles. And man, there were a lot of fire trucks and ambulances. I've been trying to figure out the aftermath of the situation, but I can't find anything about it online.

But after that experience, I got home and went over to David's. Three of his friends and Alicia were there. We drank and played Apples to Apples. Always a good time.

I'm just at work right now. I really need sleep, but I also really feel like doing something once I get off work. I'll probably go with the latter.

"Gay guys dance better than straight guys"

Wow, last night was fun. It was the first time I ever went out to clubs in St. Louis. And I have to tell you, I was surprised. In a very good way.

The night start with Jan and a couple of guys I didn't know picking Alicia and I up. Apparently I was talked up before hand for being crazy (in a good way). Obviously, I had to live up to that image. We picked someone else up on the way as well so I had you ride on Jan's lap the whole way - but whatever.

First we went to The Clubhouse. $15 bottomless cup? Who could complain! Not that Alicia and I didn't pre-game our drinking pretty hard before hand. Jack & Coke was strong, just the way I like it. Before I knew it, I ran into people I knew from school. We traded stories about clubbing in college and waking up in the hospital (not me waking up in the hospital, come on now). After a few hours and a few more Jack & Cokes, Alicia and I needed a change of scenery. And lucky us, The Complex was right next door.

The Complex is a gay club. However, everyone knows how fun it is, so people go there gay, straight, bi, or whatever! And damn, it was fun. Some crazy drag queen was lip syncing to some techno song. We danced like crazy. When we went out onto the patio, there ended up being a ton of people we knew there as well. After a hit of mollie and a few cigarettes, we went back to The Clubhouse where we danced and drank some more before heading back at around 3 AM.

Successful night, I must say.
(By the way, I didn't take these pictures. Just found them out the places' Myspaces.)

"You should start a blog or something"

Robbie had a stroke of genuis when he suggested I start a blog to keep everyone updated. Living between Miami and St. Louis, there's always half of my friends not in the know. Everyone deserves to be filled in on the life of Hannah Kahn.

Who the fuck am I kidding? No one is going to read this. But that's okay, I like writing. I like writing about me, at least.

I'll try to remember to continue updating this daily, or semi-daily once the novelty of it wears off, with stories of my adventures. Or more likely, my drunken escapades.

Tonight I am going to some college night at some bar in the city with Alicia and Jan and who knows who else. Only good stories can arise from this. Maybe I'll bring my iPod touch or something to take notes on so I don't forget details. Heavy drinking doesn't always lead to the best detailed memory.
